In this collection of short stories revolving around protagonist, Sandy Evans, owner of a B&B. Sandy has a real knack for finding murder victims. Fox has a sense of humor that comes through in her writing, leaving the reader chuckling quite frequently. I really enjoyed the unique way of beginning each chapter with a voice mail Sandy leaves for people (most often for her husband Joey). Each voice mail sets up the chapter that follows perfectly. After Sandy interacts with Det. Foley several times about various bodies, it becomes obvious that Det. Foley is not appreciating Sandy’s help. Each short story is a stand alone, making it a wonderful book to pick up when you only have short periods of time for reading. I’m looking forward to more from Barbara Fox.Product details

what a fun read! and i felt like i was really getting to know miami!

My review is the same as the previous review. I really liked the mini mysteries. They were well thought out and had believable characters.There didn't seem to have had anyone proofread this book.
I enjoyed this book of short mysteries; and, plan on reading the rest of the books in this series. The book should be a 5 star book because the mysteries are very well thought out. However I could not give it the 5 star rating because of the grammatical errors.
